Risk Disclaimer
Kestrel EA is software you run on your own MetaTrader 4 account, at your own broker. Trading foreign exchange on margin can cost you part or all of the money in that account.
Information, not advice
This site explains a piece of software and publishes its test record. It does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, it makes no personal recommendation, and nothing on it is an offer to buy or sell a financial instrument.
Daemon Digital LLC sells software. It holds no authorisation from any regulator as a financial adviser, broker or asset manager, it does not manage funds and it never takes custody of anyone’s money.
The risk of forex and leverage
Leveraged forex trading is high risk and is not suitable for everyone. Leverage multiplies losses exactly as it multiplies gains, and an account can lose all of the money in it.
Before you trade, weigh what you can afford to lose, what you are trying to achieve and how much experience you have. Never fund a trading account with money you cannot afford to lose, and if in doubt ask a qualified, independent adviser.
Past performance and backtests
Every performance figure on this site is identified in the same sentence as what it is: a backtest over a stated period, on a stated data feed, or a forward test running on demo accounts since September 2026.
Backtests are prepared with the benefit of hindsight. They cannot include the slippage, the requotes, the swap and commission schedule, or the execution behaviour of any particular broker. A demo account shows that the software runs unattended and reacts to live prices; it does not show real fills, real spreads under stress, or real financing costs.
Past performance and backtest results, real or simulated, do not guarantee and do not indicate future results. A worse episode than any in the published record remains possible.
Limitation of liability
The software and this site come as they are, with no warranty, express or implied. As far as the law allows, Daemon Digital LLC is not liable for any loss that follows from using the site, the software or the figures published here. Nothing on this page excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Your responsibility
Understanding leveraged markets before you trade is your job. So is every decision about your account — the broker, the leverage, the capital and whether the software runs or stops — and so are the results of those decisions.
